Dr. James B. Wisner
Dr. James B. Wisner was raised in Charleston and attended Porter-Gaud High School. He graduated from The Honors College at The University of South Carolina in 1996 and received his D.M.D. degree in 2002 from the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Wisner served in Las Vegas, Nevada and Spangdahlem, Germany as a Captain in the United States Air Force for three years where he completed an AEGD residency and was certified in Intravenous Conscious Sedation. Dr. Wisner is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE) and The Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), as well as the American Dental Association (ADA) and South Carolina Dental Association (SCDA). He has completed advanced training in Implant Surgery, Adult Orthodontics, Botox and Facial Esthetics, Cerec Same-Day Crowns, 3D CBCT Imaging, and Cosmetic Dentistry.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, boating, soccer, and is an avid Gamecock fan. Dr. Wisner and his wife, Kristin, have two adorable children, a son, Reese, and a daughter, Everley.
Dr. Luke E. Severance
Dr. Luke E. Severance believes dentistry goes far beyond just treating teeth – it’s about building lasting relationships and making a genuine difference in the lives of his patients.
Dr. Severance was raised in Florence, South Carolina and graduated with summa cum laude from the University of South Carolina. He went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina and attended a General Practice Residency in Columbia, SC. At Prisma Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, he extended his knowledge and expertise in various areas from IV Moderate Sedation, Implant Surgery, CEREC Same-Day Crowns, Digital Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Extractions including Wisdom Teeth. He understands a dental visit can be fearful for some and his goal is to alleviate this fear by going above and beyond the need to help each person feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Severance enjoys spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hiking, playing soccer, watching the Gamecocks, and staying active in his church and community. Even in his free time, he studies the latest dental technology and attends dental seminars to stay up to date with the latest industry trends for delivering cutting edge dental treatments to all his patients. He is devoted to helping patients achieve optimal oral health and confident smiles which will positively impact their systemic and mental health.
Meaghan
Originally from a small town in northern New York State, Meaghan attended State University of New York at Potsdam. In 2013, Meaghan obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications. After graduation, Meaghan and her boyfriend Leigh decided to move to Charleston to begin a new life in the lowcountry.
After becoming involved in the dental community, Meaghan decided to pursue her passion for dental hygiene by enrolling in the dental hygiene program at Trident Technical College in Charleston, South Carolina. Since receiving her state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Meaghan strives to give her patients the best quality of care in a positive, friendly manor. For each patient she treats, Meaghan dedicates herself to educating patients on their oral health needs which in turn, helps them to maintain a systemic healthy lifestyle.
In her spare time, Meaghan enjoys boating with Leigh and their pup, Sydney. In addition to discovering all of Charleston’s hidden treasures, Meaghan also enjoys crafting and meeting new people.
Sabrina
Sabrina was raised in Central Iowa and graduated from Hawkeye Community College with a Hygiene Degree in 2018. She and her husband, Logan, moved to Charleston in 2021 with their cat, Doug.
Sabrina loves being a Dental Hygienist and making her patients feel comfortable and welcome in the practice. Early in her career, Sabrina was able to travel to Seattle and attend a course on periodontal health at The Kois Center. She learned how to bring awareness to the significance of it and what it does for overall health. This has made her passionate about customized patient care and early detection, which leads to healthier patients and better dental visits.
When she’s not working you can find Sabrina staying active by taking workout classes and running all around the beautiful low country.
Callie
Callie is originally from Lebanon, Ohio and graduated from the University of Louisville in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene. After graduation, Callie decided to make Charleston her new home. She loves being a dental hygienist and is dedicated to creating a positive experience and relationship with all of her patients. When she is not at the office, you can find her enjoying the outdoors at the beach with her puppy, Oakley, or staying active and working out!
